Another banner year for Girls Alive!

It was another busy year for our Girls Alive group. First off, we'd like to say a huge thank you to Cassandra Baines and Tammie Cochran for all their sacrifice of time and effort to invest in these girls' lives. The year kicked off last summer with a fourth of July fundraiser that was extremely successful. A variety of fundraisers continued throughout the year and allowed them to be able to bless not only our church but visiting missionaries, orphanages and others that are in need. They spent time in supporting the efforts of Operation Nightwatch and were always eager to help out others. The girls were able to earn three badges this year - stewardship, home and faith. Not only did they talk about all these things but they got some real world practice on putting these into action. If you want to hear more details, ask one of our girls.
