Is this all there is? Do we live on planet Earth for just so long and then that's it? Everything in us cries out, "No! There must be more!" That cry for eternity is something God created in us. Part of Ecceliastes chapter 3 verse 11 says, "He also has planted eternity in men's hearts and minds --a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy--" [Emphasized Bible]

 

We are made for a purpose. We are made for a divine purpose by a God who is good, who loves us, and who wants us to spend eternity with Him.

 

We know He exists: "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse." (Romans 1.20)
