Women's Ministries of Edmonds Open Bible Church is a vital and active part of the church providing many avenues of involvement for our women. There are weekly Ladies' Bible studies on Tuesdays (except for the second Tuesday of each month and in the summer) at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The second Tuesday evening of each month is a Women's Ministry Night in various homes with a three fold purpose: fun/fellowship, devotion, and outreach. Other special activities include luncheons, bridal/baby showers, card-making evenings, picnics, retreats, etc. In cooperation with our National Open Bible Women's Ministries, we raise a lot of money for missions giving. Our biggest fund raiser, the Heaven Scent Christmas boutique, takes place the second weekend of November. All year long we make exquisite and fun crafts to sell. The sale also includes fine art, antiques/collectibles, and a huge bakery with homemade treats, which fill all our fellowship hall. All of the money is given to Open Bible mission projects and local charity outreaches. The women of the church also head up the following ministries within the church: communion, a ladies' prayer chain and special prayer services, fund raising, decorating, weddings/receptions, funerals, encouragement outreach, food following surgery, and housing for ministry guest.

 

We welcome the involvement of all our women college age and above who will join us in serving the Lord and His church together. We are stronger together!
